West Dunbartonshire Council: Jobspot

June 14th, 2012

The new employability platform for West Dunbartonshire Council has launched.

This free service helps local employers advertise jobs and match up relevant job seekers to their own specific requirements. Job seekers create electronic resumes on the site and can search for a range of vacancies in their area.

As the project is funded until June 2013, Employment Enterprise hopes to achieve results in-keeping with previous project delivery.  General Manager, Tony Stapleton
has high-hopes:

“This commitment from West Dunbartonshire Council reflects a renewed emphasis on employability support in the area.  We have high targets of 70% Job Entry for the clients we work with and we are sure that with the continued support of the Council, our local delivery partners and private business in the area we can achieve
those results.

Our staff are committed to ensuring that every client receives an appropriate level of support and that every employer with recruitment needs can receive clear, concise information on what support is available through the West Dunbartonshire
Employer Offer.

Jobspot is a tremendous tool that allows us to Job Match eligible local residents to actual, local, live vacancies – providing a seamless, efficient process from referral
to employment.”
