A website experience to remember for BBSRC.

June 8th, 2015

The human brain is capable of the most remarkable feats. Which makes discovering more about how it works – specifically with regard to memory –  a very important area of bio-research. Now, Sharp Apps is doing its bit to help.

Working with the Bio-technology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the UK’s leading bio-sciences funding agency for academic research, we're helping to ‘bridge the gap’ between the scientific community and the general public.

We’ve created a website to help a team of research students, led by Dr Graham McKenzie, publicise their work and findings on episodic memory and facial recognition. Sounds complicated - but our site is helping to demystify it.

Featuring a platform for results and even an online facial recognition experiment which users can interact with, the site will hopefully get people talking about a subject that plays a key role in solving crimes and protecting the public.
